BIT Congress Inc., 2nd Annual Nano-S&T-2012, held in Qingdao Kempinski Hotel, China, from October 26-28, 2012 has gained great success. A lot of Keynote Speakers and Renowned Speakers from many countries attended this conference. Many honored guests presented at the opening ceremony including: Dr. Gehan Amaratunga, Professor, University of Cambridge, UK; Dr. Norbert Kroo, Vice-President, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Hungary; Dr. Marie-Paule Pileni, Distinguish Professor, University Pierre & Marie Curie, France; Dr. Min Gu, Professor, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia; Dr. Bao-Lian Su, Professor, University of Namur, Belgium, etc. There were 9 symposiums following the Opening Ceremony covering topics in fields including: Frontier of Nanosciences and Technologies, Advanced Nanomaterials,Characterization & Analytical Tools for Nanotech,Fabrication and Nano-Engineering Processes, Nano-electronics, Microsystems & Nano-IT, Nanomedicine and Nanobiotechnology, Nanotechnology in Environment & Energy, Application of Nanotechnology, etc. Meanwhile, the 2 Young Scientists Forum are very successful as well as the Poster Session. After the conference many participants expressed their satisfaction with the content of the congress and had fine memories of Qingdao. We believe that with the support and constructive suggestions the next conference will still be even better. |
