BIT's 1st Annual World MarineTech Summit (MTS-2010) was hold successfully during October 26-28, 2010 at Dalian World EXPO Center, China. MTS-2010 had obtained highly focus and extensive attentions throughout the world. Participants in excess of 200 from 27 countries delivered the new achievement on their research and together discussed the development of maritime technology. The participants of the conference had a good chance to hear from the renowned keynote speakers Mr. Lars Robert Pedersen, Deputy Secretary General, The Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO), Denmark; Dr. Robert Clifford, Chairman, Incat Tasmania Pty Ltd., Australia; Dr. Fai Cheng, Senior Principal Surveyor, Head of Strategic Research, Lloyd's Register, UK; Mr. Martin Burger, Chief Executive Officer, Blue Energy Canada Inc., Canada. Most participants gave a high appraisal to MTS-2010. Depending on the warmly support and good suggestions from all of the participants, we are confident in organizing MTS-2011 which would be better and more successful than MTS-2010.

MarineTech Summit-2010 (MTS-2010) is a parallel summit of The 7th International Shipbuilding, Ports and Marine Equipment Exhibition for China (Shiptec China). Shiptec China is scheduled to take place 26-28 October 2010 at Dalian World Expo Center in Dalian, the beautiful seashore city renown for its shipbuilding industry and geographic shipping advantages.
