   Conference Report

BIT Life Sciences 1st Annual Nano-S&T-2011, held in World EXPO Center, Dalian, China ,from October 23-26, 2011 has gained great success. A lot of Keynote Speakers and Renowned Speakers from many countries attended this conference.

Many honored guests presented at the opening ceremony including: Dr. Subhash C. Singhal, Battelle Fellow and Director, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, USA; Dr. Kostya Ostrikov, Professor, CSIRO Materials Science and Engineering, Australia; Dr. El-Hang Lee , Distinguished Professor, INHA University, South Korea; Dr. Jian-Gang Zhu, ABB Professor & IEEE Fellow, Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

There were 13 symposiums following the Opening Ceremony covering topics in fields including: Breaking Nanosciences and Nanotechnology, Quantum Nano- Electronics & Semiconductors, Nano- Materials and Nanostructure, Nano- Energy, Nano- Coating and Adhesive, Nano- Printing & Packaging, Nano- Fabrication, Nano- Cleantech, Nanoenvironment, Nano- IT, Nano- Textile, Nano- Agriculture and Food, Nano- Nanotech in Other Industry, Nano- Materials and Nanochemistry, Analytical Tools for Nanotech and Materials,etc.

Meanwhile, the Workshop and Training Courses including 2 Young Scientists Forum are very successful as well as the Poster Session.

After the conference many participants expressed their satisfaction with the content of the congress and had fine memories of Dalian. We believe that with the support and constructive suggestions the next conference will still be even better.


   Introduction of Nano-S & T

The 1st Annual World Congress of Nano-S&T is a Dedicated Event for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Professionals and aims to offer professionals in Nano related filed a multidisciplinary platform to learn more about the latest scientific updates and current industry standards.
