Dear Friends and Colleagues,
BIT Congress Inc. is proud to announce that its 3rd Annual Congress of U-World, with a theme of Smart Earth for Sustainable Development will be held in Dalian, China. It is a dedicated event for Internet of Things and Ubiquitous Network; U-World will bring together business leaders, consumer advocates, policymakers and entrepreneurs to explore what opportunities and risks the Internet of Things will offer businesses and consumers, and how these will re-shape our interactions with the real and virtual worlds in the coming years.
On behalf of the organizing committee, we cordially invite you to attend our congress and bring your most updated information to exchange exciting ideas and new achievements with participants from all over the world.
After the World Wide Web (the 1990's) and the mobile Internet (the 2000's), we are now heading to the third and potentially most "disruptive" phase of the Internet revolution C the Internet of Things. From "Smart Earth" to "Reading China", IOT has become a globally eye-catching key word in 2009. It was ranked one of the two important tools for revitalizing the economy by the US, defined as the basic strategy to make the Europe the leader of the world by EU and introduced as a part of the strategically plan of emerging industries by China. IOT links the objects of the real world with the virtual world, thus enabling anytime, anyplace connectivity for anything and not only for anyone. Here in China, research in the field of Internet of Things is viewed as essential to foster economic growth and catch up with the developed countries. In such a field of Internet of Things that is of strategically significance, China has by now ranked ahead of the world. No matter in terms of policies, technologies or the industrial chain, China's development of the Internet of Things is provided with an outstanding advantage and has hard-won development opportunities. We hope to build a platform for exploring and discussing the future of IOT with existing and potential application scenarios and the dimension of new services. U-World will look at how such smart connected objects and indeed cities may evolve in the future and how application providers can provide opportunities from real-life. Through this event, we hope to foster more collaboration in China and beyond.
In addition, this major international event will be held in Dalian, one of the most beautiful cities in China. After the conference, you are welcomed to join the Tech tour to experience the traditional Chinese culture, find the fascination of terra-cotta figures and enjoy the delicious food in China.
We look forward to having you to be part of the must-attend event.

Executive Chair of U-World
