On behalf of the Organizing Committee for BIT's 1st Annual World Congress of Advanced Materials-2012 (WCAM2012) with the theme of Innovation, Cutting-edge and Smartness, being held from June 6 to 8, 2012 at Beijing International Convention Center, China, we are pleased to invite you to participate this initiative conference.

As the cornerstone of high-tech industry of the twenty-first century, Advanced Materials are even known as the "cradle" of new technologies, new products, and new equipment of all areas in a sense and will create a huge composite materials market on renewable energy. Based on its significance, WCAM will bring about enormous benefits as well as open up a new and broader pathway for information and experience exchange between China and the rest of the world.

At this conference, we are able to debate the impact that advanced materials are having upon our industry, such as Biomaterials, Smart Materials, New Catalytic Material, Nano-materials and Non-Crystal Materials. Besides these, the application of advanced materials on environmental industry will be brought up to be discussed.
