The World of Environmental Biotechnology has attracted attentions from almost all walks of life. Currently, the world will be the development of biotechnology and its industry as a strategic priority for economic development. To make contributions to the development of the knowledge based economy for control of climate changes, BIT World Congress (Dalian) Inc. teams up with China Council of Promotion of International Trade-Dalian Chamber to initiate the first Annual World Congress of Environmental Biotechnology with a theme of "Healthier, Safer, and Environment Friendly ", 2011 at World Exposition Center, Dalian, China.

BIT’s 1st Annual Congress of Environmental Biotechnology (WCEB-2011) was held from October 19-22, 2011 in Dalian, China. WCEB-2011 was held with Low Carbon Earth Summit-2011 (LCES-2011). These 2 conferences brought together more than 700 participants from 58 countries. Dr. Gustav R. Grob, President, International Clean Energy Consortium ICEC, Switzerland; Dr. Daniel van der Lelie, Senior Director, Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International, Center for Agricultural and Environmental Biotechnology, USA; Dr. Alan F. Rozich, Chairman & CTO, PMC BioTec LLC, USA; Dr. Verstraete Willy, Professor, Laboratory of Microbial Ecology and Technology ( LabMET ), Ghent University, Belgium; Dr. Richard L. Smith, Project Chief, U.S. Geological Survey, USA gave wonderful keynote speeches during the conference.
The congress received extensive recognition from all over the world. Honored leaders and distinguished guests worldwide came to attend the congress. |
